The Air Jordan 12 'Michigan' was initially only available to Michigan school students, but now it offers the opportunity for the general public to embrace the school's spirit. The design of the shoe reflects the University of Michigan colors, with a navy molded suede upper and Amarillo accents on the midsole shank, upper eyelets, and 23 branding. Although the two editions are mostly alike, slight differences can be found in the lining and heel tab. To further enhance the collegiate aesthetics, the shoe is adorned with the Michigan logo on the tongue.
