The Air Jordan 12 Retro 'Flu Game' 2009 was released in November 2009 to honor Michael Jordan's iconic performance during Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals. Despite battling flu-like symptoms, Jordan displayed exceptional skill and determination, scoring an impressive 38 points that led the Bulls to a 3-2 series lead over the Utah Jazz. The design of the shoe includes a black suede upper paired with a Varsity red mudguard and outsole. Additionally, the tongue of the shoe features a sick-face icon, representing Jordan's illness during the game. This icon also appears on the heel of the shoe, sandwiched in between the numbers '97' and '38', symbolizing the year of the game and Jordan's remarkable point total, respectively.
