In April 2019, Converse collaborated with the fashion platform Slam Jam to introduce the Slam Jam x Chuck 70 High 'Reconstructed'. This unique shoe combines elements of both modern and old-school design, resulting in a distinctive look. The high-top silhouette of the Chuck 70 is given a fresh twist, with one side featuring a sleek black color, reminiscent of a brand new pair, while the other side showcases a faded, well-worn appearance. The contrasting panels are seamlessly connected with visible stitching along the back and tongue, enhancing the overall aesthetics. To complete the design, the shoe is complemented by a rubber midsole and outsole, further reinforcing the theme.
