In June 2018, Converse collaborated with designer Shane Gonzales to release a unique version of the Chuck Taylor All-Star 70. Gonzales took a creative approach by reversing the shoe's design, with the classic black colorway now featured on the shoe's interior. The upper part of the shoe is made of natural undyed canvas. Interestingly, the care instructions and sizing label are prominently displayed on the lateral side, while the iconic All-Star logo is inverted on the medial collar. To add a custom touch, the high-top's laces are printed with co-branded elements.
