To commemorate their fifth anniversary, Shanghai-based streetwear boutique DOE joined forces with Converse to design the DOE x Chuck 70 High 'Be Formless' sneaker. This limited-edition shoe, released in March 2019, combines the essence of DOE with the philosophy of 'empty your mind, be formless' from Eastern teachings. The shoe features a textured, monochrome design with an engineered jacquard upper adorned with an embossed geometrical cube pattern, paying tribute to the 20th century Suprematism art movement. Honoring its heritage, the sneaker includes an archival ankle patch, vintage license plate, signature rubber toe cap, and vulcanized midsole.
