In 2013, the Air Jordan 4 Retro introduced a distinctive design inspired by the University of Oregon football team, adding to the collection of Air Jordans paying homage to the group. This particular colorway showcases a stunning mixture of metallic green, reflective silver, and black, creating a chromed-out appearance. Noteworthy details include an Oregon “O” logo prominently featured on the heels, as well as Tinker Hatfield's signature on the inside tag. Hatfield, a former UO athlete himself, also dedicates this design to his late childhood best friend, Doug McClain, who used to accompany him to games.
