The collaboration between the American space agency, NASA, and the German sportswear brand, adidas, is celebrated with the release of the NASA x adidas women’s NMD_R1 Spectoo ‘Black Hazy Rose’. This latest version of the classic NMD features a contrasting two-tone color scheme, with a black textile upper that is enhanced by speed lacing and a translucent pull tab at the heel. The side panels of the shoe are made with breathable mesh for added comfort. One of the standout features of this model is the vibrant coral hue of the Boost midsole. Additionally, the mismatched badges on each tongue pay homage to NASA’s Artemis program, which is aiming to send astronauts back to the moon by 2024.
