Tokyo's Hender Scheme has collaborated with esteemed sportswear brand adidas to revive the 70s tennis shoe, the Lacombe. This particular version, released in June 2019, features a 'Core Black' colorway and embodies the Japanese label's contemporary Shokunin craftsmanship with its use of grained leather, vegetable-tanned backstay, and brogue-style toe. The inclusion of woven Three-Stripes and metallic tongue branding strikes a harmonious blend of opulence and durability. Completing the design is a rubber cupsole with herringbone gum tread for enhanced traction.
