Nike enlisted the help of eight talented young individuals referred to as 'Imaginairs' who visited the company's headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon in March 2017. Their task was to collaborate in the designing process of grade school sized Air Max Zero shoes. One of the striking colorways crafted during this collaboration was conceived by Kaycee Rice, a renowned YouTube dance sensation. This particular design features a gradient upper that gracefully transitions from black on the lateral side to a charming Glacier Blue on the medial side. Additionally, it showcases a silver Swoosh, unique 'WEIRDO' tongue branding, a black Air Max unit, and a matching black sole. Following its creation, the sneaker was launched to the public in January 2018, alongside other grade school sized Air Max Zero colorways designed by talented individuals including Sam Gordon, Lincoln Markham, Annie LeBlanc, Sulivan Gwed, Mark Thomas, Mademoiselle Garcia, and Wang Junkai.
