In celebration of Black History Month in 2013, Jordan Brand collaborated with streetwear designer Don C to produce a limited collection of Air Jordan 1 High Straps. A total of 39 pairs were manufactured and made available exclusively through a charity auction on eBay. The iconic AJ1 showcases a leather upper adorned with a print inspired by Black History Month. Adding a unique touch, embossed snakeskin accents are featured on the strap and Swoosh, adding visual interest to the all-black design, which is complemented by an orange leather inner lining. Notably, the interior of the tongue is embroidered with the lettering 'BHM', further symbolizing the significance of this commemorative edition.
