In 2003, Nike released a three-sneaker pack called "Shima," which means "island" in Japanese. This pack was made specifically for the European, Canadian, and Asian markets. All the sneakers in the pack, including the 'Shima 1' model, featured pinstripes on the inner liner. The 'Shima 1' sneaker had a colorway that combined white, grey, and Midnight Navy. It also featured the iconic AT1 forefoot strap for personalized comfort. The upper part of the sneaker was made of leather, and it sat on a white cushioned midsole. The full-length rubber outsole provided excellent cross-training performance.
