In July 2019, Nike introduced the Wmns Legend React 2 'Bright Crimson', an improved version of their original design, to enhance stability. The updated Nike running sneaker features a one-piece mesh upper, as opposed to the previous two-piece construction, providing a more secure fit. To promote stability and balance, a foam wedge is inserted at the heel, while side support is achieved through linear taping in the shape of a triangle. The underfoot experience is further enhanced by the data-informed React foam midsole, which offers superior cushioning and protection for the wearer.
