The We Are Cultivator x Nike By You x React Element 55 'NYC' was launched on August 19th, 2019 as part of a collaboration between Nike and 28 creative minds from New York City. This particular edition of the React Element 55 was designed by Fernanda 'Fera' Schmidt, who is originally from Bolivia but currently resides in New York City. She affectionately named the sneaker 'B2' as a tribute to the tourist visa that granted her entry into the United States. In her design, Schmidt creatively combines the lush green vegetation of Bolivia with the contrasting elements of the dark city night and vibrant yellow taxis.
