In an attempt to design a shoe that would stand out from the #44 Deck Shoe, later known as the Authentic, Paul Van Doren sketched what he called the 'jazz stripe.' This distinctive stripe would go on to become the iconic Vans sidestripe, which remains a signature feature of the famous Vans Old Skool sneaker. The Old Skool sneaker, a stylish low-top shoe, showcases a vibrant Ochre color palette, complemented by contrasting True White accents. Its upper is crafted from a combination of suede and canvas, while its padded collar provides added support and comfort. Additionally, the shoe sports a cushioned footbed for enhanced comfort.
