Designed by James Arizumi in 2009, the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski was specifically crafted to meet the requirements of professional skaters. In July 2019, the Slip RM SB 'Crafted Mahogany' iteration enhances the shoe's style by incorporating a handwoven leather upper, paying tribute to Janoski's artistic inclinations as well as his exceptional skateboarding skills. Furthermore, this rendition features a sockliner with a Zoom Air unit for added comfort, while strategically reducing the amount of rubber on the sole in specific areas to create a lighter sensation while wearing the shoe.
