In 2003, MIA Skate Shop was established with the purpose of catering to the skate community in South Beach, Miami, Florida. Marking the shop's 10-year milestone, the Nike SB Dunk Low Quickstrike colorway was introduced. This design showcases a mix of blue tones on the suede and perforated leather upper, while the ankle overlays feature unique water-like graphic panels, reminiscent of the beach. The sandy tan Swoosh and orange lining further amplify the coastal theme. The tongue is adorned with a custom orange Palm Tree logo, and the shoe is completed with an icy translucent rubber outsole. To commemorate Go Skateboarding Day in June 2013, the shoe was released at a special MIA Skate Shop x Nike SB Pop-Up event in Miami.
