In January 2016, Homegrown, a skate shop located in Ithaca, drew inspiration from their local surroundings to create a unique version of the Nike SB Dunk High Premium. Reflecting the influence of the area's hiking culture, this iconic skate shoe was transformed with a boot-like appearance in earthy tones of Sequoia Green, Ale Brown, and Cool Grey. To stay true to the theme, the sneaker showcases a pigskin suede upper, sturdy rope laces adorned with metal grommets, and distinctive pine tree graphics adorning both the interior and exterior.
