In 2015, a collaboration was formed between Nike N7 Fund and Kevin Durant to create a special edition of his KD 8 sneaker. This collaboration aimed to lend support to Native American and Aboriginal communities, making it a meaningful project. The sneakers feature a unique, multicolored graphic design on the Flyweave upper, created by the talented Native American artist Bunky Echo-Hawk. To add an extra touch of vibrancy, glow-in-the-dark accents have been incorporated into the design, emphasizing the full-length Zoom Air unit. With this collaboration, Nike and Durant have not only created a visually striking sneaker but have also made a positive impact on indigenous communities.
