The design of the eyestay cleverly references the DeLorean's iconic gull-wing doors. Additionally, the heel showcases black lines reminiscent of the car's rear window shades, while the tri-color outsole mirrors the DeLorean's tail lights' color-blocking. To commemorate the original vehicle's manufacturing process, the tongue features a Belfast stamp, acknowledging the Northern Irish factory responsible for its production.
