Nike launched this special edition of the Air VaporMax Plus to show support for the LGBTQ community and honor Pride. The shoe, part of the 2018 BETRUE collection, blends features from the Air Max Plus and Air VaporMax. It is designed with a vibrant rainbow flag pattern running along the entire length of the Vapormax sole, while the insole and heel tab feature BETRUE messaging. Paying homage to LGBTQ activism, a triangle, a symbol of historical significance, can be found on the tongue. The BETRUE campaign, introduced in 2012, aims to combat discrimination in sports and promote inclusivity.
