Launched in April 2019, the Nike: On Air collection provided a unique opportunity for six individuals worldwide to design an Air Max shoe that showcased the essence of their respective hometowns. One of the fortunate contest winners, Cash Ru, collaborated with Nike designers to create the phenomenal Air Max 97 'On Air: Shanghai Kaleidoscope' sneaker. Drawing inspiration from the captivating Shanghai landscape, Ru incorporated a mesmerizing blue synthetic translucent upper embellished with white multi-layered heel tabs, symbolizing the ethereal clouds that gracefully traverse the vast Shanghai sky.
