In 1991, Tinker Hatfield and Bruce Kilgore collaborated to develop the Nike Air Max 180 prototype, which would later serve as a source of inspiration for future footwear models. Their aim was to enhance the cushioning technology used by the Nike brand. This particular release, coming in October 2018, features a String suede upper with overlays of Baroque Brown. The neutral colorway is complemented by accents of Rust Pink on the Swooshes, footbed, and tongue badge. Furthermore, a translucent blue Air Max unit separates the outsole and heel for added visual interest.
