The Nike Air Max 1 '86 OG 'Big Bubble - Red' is making a comeback for Nike's 2023 Air Max Day. This release brings back the original colorway of the performance runner turned sneaker icon, complete with the larger visible Air bubble that was featured on the first pairs released in 1986. Staying true to the original design, the retro version features a breathable white mesh upper, grey synthetic suede overlays, and pops of University Red on the mudguard and signature Swoosh. The shoe also includes crimson accents on the molded eyelets and Nike Air branding on the tongue and heel overlay. Restored to its original size, the white polyurethane midsole houses an exposed Air-sole unit in the heel, providing a comfortable and cushioned ride.
