The Nike Air Force Max CB, a basketball shoe designed by Charles Barkley, is a modern interpretation of the popular mid-90's classic. In June 2019, Nike unveiled a new variant of the shoe called the 'Gym Red', which pays homage to Barkley's time with the Houston Rockets. This particular version features a striking combination of nubuck and leather on the upper, along with a pinstriped collar and an embroidered jersey number on the pull tab. To ensure stability, the shoe incorporates a branded TPU heel cup and crossover straps. Additionally, the midsole boasts Max Air cushioning in the heel, allowing for a comfortable and supportive stride, while the herringbone rubber outsole offers excellent traction on the court.
