The NikeLab ACG 07 KMTR, which was released in May 2017, marked the debut of Nike's all-conditions Komyuter silhouette. In an effort to enhance the shoe's accessibility, the design team devised a unique method by placing a brown paper bag around a foot and molding it to resemble a shoe. This innovative approach led to the development of a drawcord system that allows the four-way stretch upper shell to transition effortlessly from a spacious configuration to a sleek and streamlined silhouette. Additionally, the water-resistant upper shell is adorned with reflective accents on both the logo and welding seams, while the black rubber outsole boasts wet traction lugs inspired by the tooling of the Nike Tallac Flyknit ACG.
