Bringing together the forces of Stone Island, Tokyo Design Studio, and New Balance, the Stone Island x Tokyo Design Studio x New Balance FuelCell C_1 ‘Tan’ presents a collaborative running shoe that prioritizes maximum cushioning. Constructed from a blend of synthetic and organic cotton materials, the shoe’s upper showcases a subtle camouflage pattern in beige and grey tones, drawing inspiration from Stone Island's archive. To ensure easy on and off, a magnetic speed lacing system is incorporated. The vamp is adorned with an embroidered Flying NB logo, while the heel cup boasts an enlarged and molded Stone Island Compass. The shoe delivers responsive cushioning through its bulky FuelCell midsole, which is further enhanced by a full-length carbon fiber plate.
