In February 2017, a collaboration between mita sneakers and New Balance resulted in the release of the 247 'Tokyo Rat' sneaker. The name of the shoe pays homage to the ever-active rats that can be seen scurrying through the bustling streets of Tokyo day and night. To further capture the essence of these creatures, the sneaker features a grey hairy suede construction on the quarter panel. Additionally, the custom graphic insoles, adorned with both mita sneakers and New Balance branding, showcase a captivating city scene captured by the talented photographer, Keita Suzuki.
