In 1909, the city of Kobe played host to Japan's inaugural marathon, an event that holds significant historical importance. As a tribute to this remarkable city, Onitsuka Tiger introduced a special edition of its Mexico 66 shoes called the 'Marathon' edition. Crafted with a combination of luxurious blue leather and suede, this unique shoe boasts additional green accents on the heel and collar, further enhancing its aesthetic appeal. To provide lateral support, white Tiger stripes are incorporated into the design. Equally important, the shoe offers exceptional comfort with the inclusion of an EVA midsole and rubber outsole, both of which contribute to energy return throughout the entire 26.2-mile race.
