The Nike Air Jordan 9 Retro 'Johnny Kilroy' was the inaugural colorway released as part of the 2012 'Alter Egos' Pack. This sneaker pays tribute to an Air Jordan 9 commercial that was unveiled during the 1994-95 NBA season, which coincided with Michael Jordan's initial retirement from the sport. Making its debut in October 2012, this shoe features a unique twist on the classic 'Air Jordan' branding by replacing it with the moniker 'Johnny Kilroy.' Additionally, the traditional #23 on the heel has been swapped out for a #4. The 'Johnny Kilroy' is just one of several sneakers included in the Jordan 'Alter Egos' Pack, which also includes the 'Fontay Montana,' 'Bentley Ellis,' 'Slim Jenkins,' 'Motorboat Jones,' and 'Calvin Bailey.'
