The Air Jordan 4 Retro GS 'Motorsports' draws inspiration from a special color scheme originally designed for Michael Jordan's Jordan Motorsports team's fourth anniversary in 2006. Although initially exclusive to friends and family, this sneaker was later made available to the general public in March 2017. Featuring a combination of white, black, and Game Royal colors, this Grade School-sized shoe does not include the Mars Blackmon accent that was present on the heel of the 2006 version. Additionally, a variant of this shoe, known as the Air Jordan 4 Retro BG 'Motorsports Alternate,' was released a few months later in a sleek black colorway.
