The Old Skool, also known as Style 36, is widely recognized for its distinctive leather sidestripe, which originally set it apart as the first Vans shoe to bear such a feature. In collaboration with fashion retailer J.Crew, the renowned West Coast brand sought to offer a unique twist on the Old Skool, resulting in the release of a limited edition version in January 2017. This iteration replaces the traditional canvas material with a stylish suede upper, complemented by contrasting suede overlays. To maintain its classic appeal, the shoe is finalized with a timeless vulcanized rubber sole.
