To commemorate its 20th anniversary in the sneaker industry, Offspring, a sneaker store in London, introduced a new iteration of the Asics Gel Lyte 5 in April 2016. This particular edition pays homage to the store's origins in Covent Garden, featuring a tonal sandy colorway that draws inspiration from the cobblestoned streets of Covent Garden Piazza. Additionally, the teal liner nods to Offspring's initial color scheme, while the insole is adorned with the Japanese Kanji for "20". Following the release of the 'Covent Garden' version, a 'Cobbled' colorway infused with shades of grey was launched in July 2016.
