New York-based retailer Extra Butter has teamed up with ASICS to create a special edition of the Gel Lyte 5 sneaker, known as the 'Karaoke' version. Following in the footsteps of their previous film-inspired collaborations, this shoe draws inspiration from the iconic film Lost in Translation by Sofia Coppola. The design of the shoe pays homage to Scarlett Johansson's character in the film, featuring a colorway that represents the pink wig and black shirt she wore in the memorable karaoke scene. Additionally, the interior motif of this scene is reflected in the zebra-like sockliner of the sneaker. To further celebrate the film, Extra Butter has included some exclusive items with the shoe. These include a branded shot glass and a tin containing a tea bag and cherry eucalyptus lozenges.
