Designed and crafted at the renowned Hender Scheme studio in Tokyo, the Hender Scheme x NMD_R1 collaboration by adidas Originals seamlessly blends the iconic NMD silhouette with the brand's distinctive vachetta leather. Boasting a beautifully aged raw tan leather upper, these sneakers gain character over time, forming a unique patina. Furthermore, the replaceable leather soles ensure longevity, allowing them to be enjoyed for several years. The artisanal touch is evident with debossed branding adorning the heel, pull tab, and leather toe counter. This limited collection, which includes the Superstar and Micropacer models, was released in September 2017 and consisted of a mere 900 pairs.
