Released in July 2015 as part of the exclusive Napes Pack, the New Balance 577 pays homage to the renowned Napes Needle, a well-known rock climb in the English Lake District. Crafted in England, the shoe boasts a luxurious suede upper complemented by durable rip-stop overlays. The iconic British flag adorns the heel, while the color scheme draws inspiration from climbing equipment. A tongue featuring a striking mountain graphic and an ENCAP New Balance sole with mountain-peak detailing add a distinctive touch. To honor the Napes Needle's location, the shoe is embroidered with the grid reference 'NY210100' on its heel.
