In December 2016, New Balance launched a special edition of their 247 shoes in order to introduce the New Balance 247 silhouette. Among this collection was the 247v2 Kids Wide 'Pink Purple' sneaker, which draws inspiration from the original adult sneaker and has been resized to fit children's feet. This sneaker showcases a breathable mesh upper that is reinforced by a midfoot lacing system on the quarter panel. Additionally, it features an injection-molded EVA foam midsole that provides enhanced support, while a durable rubber outsole offers responsive cushioning.
